Elections here in town are headed into the homestretch. Ballots must be RECEIVED by 7 pm Tuesday. No polling places; it's all MAIL. But you can walk your ballot into city hall.
Locals are fired up, as the coalition standing up for local jobs and against the McWalmartization of our society has spent money trying to defeat Jess Talamantes.
In the school board race, an education reform group has spent some funds for beloved local PTA Presidents David Dobson and Charlene Tabet.
Other than this, it's been quiet. Now is the time for bragging rights: make your predictions below or by e-mail.
Our prediction is that Dave Golonski and Zizette Mullins win. Other than that, who knows?
